My Obsession with American Idol
I love American Idol..but vowed to never watch it again when Simon left. I couldn't envision the show without him. I finally decided to take a peek last week and I must say, the new judges are refreshing. It seems Fox finally has got it right...the mix is perfect.
Steven Tyler proves that you can be nice and still get ahead. I saw him tell Jackson last week not to say that to one of the contestants...I was very Impressed....I'm sure Steven Tyler has been through plenty people putting him down during his climb to the top. That one statement put him to the top of my list of best judges, and I remind you, I liked Simon Cowell. I think Randy is trying to replace Simon and it isn't working. No one can be Simon but Simon, but Tyler and Jennifer are the new faces of American Idol...A lot of names were thrown out as possible judges before the new season. I believe Fox made the best choice.
Now if CBS will bring back Maggie and Harry on The Early Show, I will be one happy camper.
