I recently became aware of the world of Etsy when I ordered some backgrounds for my shop through a store called Little Ninja Designs. I love the backgrounds and bought several. Here is a design I made using the blue hearts.

Little Ninja Designs was created out of passion, a love for design and from a "Little Ninja".
I recently became a mom for the first time and find myself constantly inspired by my new daughter who we have nicknamed "Little Ninja." I began looking for a way to combine staying at home to raise our little girl with still having a career that I love...and Little Ninja Designs was born!
Little Ninja Designs is a design studio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that specializes in creating identities for businesses. From logos and printed materials, to websites and social media, we use eye-catching and memorable designs to create a unified look and feel for your company.
My love of web design began more than 10 years ago after I graduated with a computer programming diploma from NAIT in 2000. I then studied new media visual communications at the University of Alberta. I began working part-time in the graphic and web design industry, while also returning to university to become a school teacher. For several years, I taught students of all ages and my favorite classes to teach, of course, were the computer classes! I also branched out into teaching adult computer classes and becoming a certified yoga instructor. Although I loved teaching in the classroom, I missed being away from the creativity of the design world.
In addition to my love of all things digital, I have many creative hobbies including jewelery making, sewing, card making, baking and cooking. I also have my own Etsy store (http://littleninjadesigns.etsy.com) featuring my original designs of announcements, calendars, digital scrapbooking supplies and other digital creations. I also design event, birthday and wedding invitations (including my own!).
