Letter(Word) Craft

Love this wall hanger from Fun to Craft.  She made this from chipboard letters you buy at craft stores.   She covered them with scrap paper and  used modge podge.  You can then cut the excess away, but she sanded them and I love the look it achieved.   There are so many words or names you could mind is spinning with ideas.   You could do a wedding couple's initials, the word baby(with pink or blue dots) for a nursery, and lots I want to go to a Hobby Lobby (40 miles away).  Confucius say:  People who love craft should live in big city.
You can see her tutorial Here.

Valentines Candy Poster for Husband

Several years ago I made my husband a homemade Valentine Candy Card with a folded piece of poster board...When I look at this candy card, I cringe  because it could have been so much better, but he has saved the card all these years. The inside of the card reads:
  • Dear Sugar Daddy
  • Hope this card brings you many snickers
  • You give my Life Riesen
  • Wouldn't trade your for 100 Grand
  • Our life is a Symphony
  •  and then I added a Be Mine Chocolate Heart
Of all the gifts I have given him through the years, I think this simple card was his favorite...and my daughter still remembers it too. Sometimes It's the smallest things that mean the most.

Candy Flower Arrangement Using Candy Bars

My daughter Ashley made this candy arrangement for her Cousin's Birthday last night. She took miniature snickers and air heads and put them on Popsicle sticks and then put different colors of tissue paper around them. It gives the illusion of a flower blooming candy bars. Everything was bought from a dollar store so it was quite inexpensive and I thought she did a great job with it.
